Driver: Parallel Lines Wiki

This article lists all Radio tracks appearing in Driver: Parallel Lines and Driver 76.

Description[]

All vehicles in Driver: Parallel Lines, including motorcycles and emergency vehicles, are equipped with a radio. The radio will play a song at semi-random each time when entering a vehicle.

Songs can be cycled through on PC and Wii[citation/verification needed] using "Z" / D-Pad Left button (Wii) (previous track) and "X" / D-Pad Right button (Wii) (next track), or skipping tracks on Xbox and PlayStation 2 using D-pad Up button (Xbox) / D-pad Up button (PlayStation 2). Songs can be selected within the pause menu in Driver 76 on the PSP.

The playlist order is randomized each time the game is loaded, meaning the player can cycle through tracks indefinitely and the order they will play in will not change unless they reload the save game, enter a mission or mini-game, or switch eras

Each era features songs appropriate to that year, i.e., 1978's playlist features classic rock, punk, funk, pop and soul music, while 2006 features songs themed around metal, punk rock, indie rock and hip-hop.

Driver 76 features most of the same music from the 1978 era of Driver: Parallel Lines.

As well as playing in cars, songs from the radio may also be heard in other circumstances:

  • During cutscenes
  • During Job Low-Downs.
  • Inside Ray's Autos.
  • Songs scripted to play during missions, including playing on the radio or playing around the map.
  • During the game credits.
