Reminiscent of New York City in the 1970s, Driver: Parallel Lines features a broad range of magazines advertised and displayed in the game. None of the magazines are purchasable or indeed readable, however a large amount of them are advertised throughout the course of the game.
One notable example of magazine appears in Nickel and Dime's last cutscene, where Ray walks in on TK reading an adult magazine titled "Jazz". The porn magazine influences TK into visiting Funky Rabbit to meet Slink.
Many of the magazines seen in game are based around two popular cultures and interests of young adults in 1970s America; pornography and cars, or indeed both;
