The MX2000 is a sports car in Driver: Parallel Lines.
Design[]
The MX2000 is closely based on a Mazda RX-7, with a few design hints from the Chevrolet Corvette C5 and Porsche Carrera GT. It holds a flat and long look, the front headlights are based on top of the hood, and the grill is placed beneath the hood, a front splitter is present under the grill.
Performance[]
Default statistics in Ray's Autos. |
Possessing a combination of good traction and a high top speed, the MX2000 has a major advantage against other vehicles in the sports class. The vehicle is able to maneuver around corners easily thanks to its sharp steering angle and short wheelbase, and with little to no traction-loss, the chances of spinning out when performing lots of tight, repetitive maneuvers is slim. The car is also very lightweight, partially down to its small size, allowing it to accelerate quicker than most other sports cars in the game.
The MX2000's biggest weakness is its durability, with limited protection against other vehicles, the vehicle is easily deformed and takes very few collisions before engine damage starts to affect the car's performance, especially its acceleration. It also has a high center of gravity, sometimes causing it to lose control and spin out unexpectedly when gaining air.
